What is the difference between t2i and 60d
If you are primarily an action or sports photographer. The dual digic-4 processors of the 7D make it the fastest, and its 19 cross-type point focusing system is the most reliable in difficult situations.
The differences are minimal, and a good photographer can easily work around them. You shoot a lot of video and the articulated LCD would be helpful to you. You shoot a lot of action. The 9 cross-type focusing points are a major improvement over the Rebel T2i 9 point, but only one cross-type and even the 5D Mark II, 9 point, one cross-type. It does have the same AF system as the 40D and 50D. You want to wirelessly control Canon speedlites using a built-in pre-flash system. If the count of relative strengths bullet points above is taken as a measure, the 60D is the clear winner of the match-up 11 : 4 points. However, the relative importance of the various individual camera aspects will vary according to personal preferences and needs, so that you might like to apply corresponding weights to the particular features before making a decision on a new camera.
A professional sports photographer will view the differences between cameras in a way that diverges from the perspective of a street photog, and a person interested in family portraits has distinct needs from a landscape shooter. Hence, the decision which camera is best and worth buying is often a very personal one.
How about other alternatives? Do the specifications of the Canon 60D and the Canon T2i place the cameras among the top in their class? In any case, while the specs-based evaluation of cameras can be instructive in revealing their potential as photographic tools, it says little about, for example, the shooting experience and imaging performance of the 60D and the T2i in practical situations.
User reviews, such as those found at amazon , can sometimes inform about these issues, but such feedback is often incomplete, inconsistent, and biased. This is why hands-on reviews by experts are important. As can be seen, the professional reviewers agree in many cases on the quality of different cameras, but sometimes their assessments diverge, reinforcing the earlier point that a camera decision is often a very personal choice.
The review scores listed above should be treated with care , though. The assessments were made in relation to similar cameras of the same technological generation. A score, therefore, has to be seen in close connection to the price and market introduction time of the camera, and rating-comparisons among cameras that span long time periods or concern very differently equipped models make little sense.
Also, kindly note that some of the listed sites have over time developped their review approaches and their reporting style. Did this review help to inform your camera decision process?

Compared to Pentax K-7 Canon T2i. Compare Canon T2i vs Pentax K Canon 60D. The replacement filter passes almost all of the hydrogen-alpha wavelengths, whereas the 60Da is still filtering some out. It is also interesting to compare the signal-to-noise ratio in the images produced by these three cameras as we can see in the chart below.
The same small area of background sky, containing no stars or nebulosity, was measured in Photoshop. The signal-to-noise ratio was computed by dividing the mean pixel value in this area by the standard deviation. As expected, the modified T2i D has a slightly higher signal-to-noise ratio than the 60Da. Both the modified T2i D and 60Da have a better signal-to-noise ratio than the stock 60D. This is because the T2i D and 60Da transmit more light at the longer wavelengths.
These wavelengths produce photons which pass the filter and are detected by the sensor, and turned into signal. The signal-to-noise ratio is higher in the T2i D and 60Da simply because there is more signal present. As seen in the comparison images, the T2i records more hydrogen-alpha emissions because its replacement filter passes more of this wavelength than the 60Da filter. This gives the T2i D a bit of an edge in the signal-to-noise ratio also over the 60Da for the same reason.
It records more signal because the filter lets more photons through. Figure 2 - M27, the Dumbbell Nebula. Click your mouse cursor in the image to see a comparison between the 60D and the 60Da. In Figure 2 above we compare the response of the 60D to the 60Da.
These are the same images as in Figure 1, but isolated in a head-to-head death-cage-match-shootout comparison mouse-over so we can blink them a little bit easier. The 60Da naturally records more red hydrogen-alpha in the nebula because the modified filter passes more of this wavelength during the same exposure time.
Figure 3 - M27, the Dumbbell Nebula. Click your mouse cursor in the image to see a comparison between the 60Da and the modified T2i D. In Figure 3 we compare the response of the modified T2i D to the 60Da. Again, these are the same images as in Figure 1, but isolated in another head-to-head death-cage-match-shootout comparison mouse-over so we can blink them a little bit easier. The modified D beats the 60Da in the amount of red Ha nebulosity recorded by a little bit here because it is essentially passing percent of the Ha emission line because the camera's original long-wavelength filter has been completely removed.
