Why is therazane hostile

If you go the "dailies" route you might be tempted to try to skip the rest of Deepholm. Don't bother. You have to do quests to open up the dailies. The small amount of time you might save by skipping 20 random non-Therazane-chain quests will be consumed by the time you take trying to figure out if that quest is required or not. Just do the zone. You'll actually get through quicker. If you do the dailies from that day as well you'll end up right at Revered Humans would be significantly past it.

Meaning you only have to grind Exalted. Meaning if you're already 85 you might prefer to just skip the zone once you have Friendly. Comment by Ludor So after flying around Deepholm for an hour I've found no quests. I had the Wayward Child quest in my log and abandoned and flew around Deepholm again and found nothing. Comment by So I've completed the quests to get the achieve and kept going to make sure I was completely done with the area. Yet theres dailies that wont open for me.

I only get 5. How do I open the dailies? I've red the quests you supposedly have to do to open it but I'm positive I've done em. Perhaps I will have my way with this Stonemother Still haven't been in Stonecore for 1 or 2 quests there, so that's a pretty good start, all for a few hours questing.

Comment by elwood66 Completely lost in this zone. I abandoned a slew of quests here to be able to accept all of Tol Barad dailys with guild, biggest mistake sience bloodsail admeral. Save these quests, they are very very hard to get back on track with after they go abandoned.

Comment by cr To anyone who is having trouble finding the missing quests they need to unlock rep with Therazane. Using Questhubber it took me 2 secs to find the quests I had missed. Saved me tons of time. Comment by Does anyone else think the screenshot for this faction looks familiar? If your a child of the 80's you had to see the movie Weird Science, this monster looks just like the creature Lisa turns Chet into near the end of the movie.

Comment by I could have sworn I read in the 4. Was I dreaming this or do any of you remember reading this as well? Comment by Look, guys!

They put Precious in WoW! Comment by Can someone plz help? I cant find anymore quests in deepholm. Installed questhubber and checked every area of the quest givers and none are available.

I'm not sure how to check how many quests I've done but I have done alot. The last quests I was on were in the Needlerock chasm area then they just ended. I have flown the map numerous times and have waisted about 6 hours. Getting very frustrated, someone plz help? Comment by I am 51 quests in and cannot find another quest to do. I alrdy picked up the quest from the ooze mobs and then the quests just stopped at the needlerock chasm area. Any suggestions. Comment by Athene I spent a while trying to figure what quests I was missing to get to this faction.

Comment by Can someone help me plz? I alrdy picked up the quest from the oozes and completed it. My quests ended near Needlerock Chasm. Been flying around for hours and I cant find any. Comment by Anyone Can tell me if there is any Mounts to gain from being exalted with this Faction? Comment by why are these BoP?

Sholdn't they be BoA like the other shoulder and helm chants are? Comment by God thank you. Thanks again. Comment by If you do the quests for this faction line you can become friendly with them by around 80 quests. Comment by I gave up on shoudler enchants in cata. Sons of Hodir shoulder enchants were BoA, and I'm not going to grind exalted with every healer I have. Comment by I'm stuck at 80 quests completed and cant find a quest anywhere, when i hit 85 i abandoned whatever quests i had now i cant seem to find them as i realized the shoulder chant i needed wasnt BoA.

Therazene --and then sorted by required level so I know when I can pick up each quest as I level. Here are the results: Horde Alliance. Comment by Okay, I was on my hunter Level 82 at the time and got sent to Deepholm. As soon as you get sent to him, you've started the horribly LONG quest line to open up reputation for Therazane. Once you get the quest To Stonehearth's Aid , you don't need to do any other quests that you might be led off to at that time, if you're going for the rep only go straight onto this quest and continue the line!

You go through a few quest chains helping the Stone Dwarves in their battle against the Stone Troggs. Don't forget your Tabard! Comment by for those who have not noticed yet deepholme is just one big quest chain so dont skip any if you eventually want to get to the therazane quests which will take you from hated to honored rep with them. Therazane is at I was all out of quests and the Temple was phased.

I ended up just running into the right place in the zone and saw that fateful "! Needless to say, I finally found him after I slowed it down a bit and let the game catch up with my mount. Comment by Vonriel For further information: You need to do 69 quests roughly.. To start with: Ignore every quest in the temple except three. Where's Goldmine starts the chain for the middle pillar fragment Gunship Down and The Earth Claims All are the starts of the chain for the upper pillar fragment.

After you complete the chains opened up by these three quests and turn in the pillar fragments, you get The Very Earth Beneath Our Feet which starts the chain to unlock Therazane Reputation. After completing A Rock Amongst Many , your reputation with Therazane is set to Friendly, and you can immediately fly up to Therazane's Throne and purchase the tabard, then get the hell out of Deepholm if you're like me and can't stand the place after your fourth or fifth time through it.

Only do the quests unlocked by doing these. Note, you don't have to do Twilight Research to get access to Therazane. Edit: Written from the perspective of an alliance character. Most of the quests are the same for the horde, except for the ones noted, sorry for the mistake.

How i can proceed? Comment by iala Spent literally days flying around Deepholm, trying to find the quests to unlock the Therazane sequence. Until I can get a hold of it, this paragraph will stay. First, do this Imposing Confrontation.

You can find the troll lady at the outer edges Please please read this part! Not inside the temple! NOTE: Please take note that she will appear at 2 different locations, however only one of the clones will have the quest. As said by one of the users:. Originally Posted by angelfire.

Comment by Sothe Anyone else thinking Comment by Madrose man did you see that speech she gives you? She does NOT mess around Comment by henslock8 She wants a hug, do you wish to hug her?

Comment by The wind under her behind is kinda well Comment by As of 4. Just in case, y'know, you felt that you absolutely had to kill all 4 of the Elemental Lords at some point.

Comment by Yzzami Damn nature! You scary! Comment by Thunerflick Sooo Comment by The best part is having to get right up in her crotch to talk to her. Comment by Apolocyntosis Anyone else notice she bears a striking resemblance to Snooki? Comment by Guys, this is obviously an homage to Precious. Comment by Saint09 just wondering but you think a LARGE group of people who havent done the quest line yet could take her on? Comment by To clarify Spirituals' post above, he means this.

Comment by I love how her legs are so tiny compared to her body. Comment by I'd hit hit Comment by McKaelaKiama I really like her Comment by guthimillerk big as the earth. Comment by Necrothian You cannot actually kill Therazane. I flagged myself "at war" on two alts at various stages of quest progression, and got on my death knight, who has not gotten any rep at all with Therazane. Despite all my hard work, Therazane remained unphased by the hostile mortal screaming obscenities and "You're so fat" jokes at her feet.

You're unable to even swing your weapon at her. You can, however, kill a small number of her stone lords, if you find them in the wild. She takes the form of a massive female figure made of brown rocks and violet gemstones that are always seen floating just above the ground. Despite her general disinterest in mortal affairs, Therazane has worked with the mortals of Azeroth several times against the Old Gods' forces , having shown nothing but contempt for her former masters and their servants.

In the beginning, the world that would become known as Azeroth was ruled by the elementals. A nascent titan maturing within the world's core had consumed much of the fifth element, Spirit , and without this primordial force to create balance, the elements were thrown into chaos.

The four Elemental Lords , who each ruled over innumerable lesser spirits, constantly clashed with one another on the surface of the primordial world. Therazane the Stonemother was the most reclusive of the elemental rulers, raising great mountain ranges to protect her children from her enemies' assaults. Only after they had worn themselves thin against her barriers would the Stonemother emerge, wrenching open giant chasms to swallow entire elemental armies whole and sending her most powerful servants, giants of crystal and stone, to crush those who survived.

When the entities known as the Old Gods arrived from the Great Dark and established their empire , the Elemental Lords saw the invaders as a threat to their dominion.

For the first time in Azeroth's history, the native spirits of the world worked together against a common enemy. Therazane raised walls of jagged rock to corral and shatter the temple cities of the Black Empire, before Neptulon would sweep in with his minions and crush the Old Gods' forces with tidal waves.

When the titan-forged arrived on Azeroth to battle the Black Empire, the Old Gods sent their enslaved Elemental Lord lieutenants to face them.

Archaedas and Freya were charged with facing the Stonemother, who retreated into her towering stone spire. Archaedas used his earth magic to weaken the tower's foundations and destroy the giants guarding it, before Freya called up enormous roots to entangle and destroy the spire, bringing it down upon the Stonemother's head.

Therazane and her children were thereafter imprisoned in the crystalline caverns of Deepholm , a region of the Elemental Plane. After witnessing the devastation Deathwing and his followers caused her realm, Therazane treats all outsiders with open hostility. Therazane, also known as the Stonemother, is the elemental lord of earth, an ancient and immensely powerful counterpart of Ragnaros , Al'Akir , and Neptulon.

Unlike the realms of Al'Akir and Ragnaros, however, her domain - that of the earth, rock, and mountains - has put her in immediate conflict with Deathwing, whose emergence from Deepholm has pushed her stony realm to the point of collapse. Though Therazane has no love for mortals, she recognizes the role that these races might play in restoring Deepholm and evicting the Twilight's Hammer , who have flocked to her kingdom to bask in the glory of Deathwing's former sanctum.

Heroes who seek the aid of the Stonemother will find that her favor can confer many blessings; among them are powerful augmenting stones borne up from Deepholm itself to strengthen the armor of those who serve Therazane's will. Therazane is a quest giver in Deepholm , residing at Therazane's Throne. Her questline is in a similar experience to the Sons of Hodir 's questline in Storm Peaks.

After the heroes convinced Therazane that they will indeed leave Deepholm once the World Pillar has been repaired, a battle takes place between the Twilight Cultists and Therazane's forces.
